Who created Eyejot?
The people that created Eyejot are seasoned and passionate technology professionals that have come from imaging and messaging backgrounds. They've worked on some of the largest Internet projects and have, over many years, learned how to create applications and platforms that solve important problems in ways that are creative, compelling and useful.
David Geller - President and CEO | |
| David Geller has been a technology professional and entrepreneur for over 25 years. In 1992 he developed an email platform named NvMail which received rave media reviews, and was sold to Traveling Software. David then joined Starwave, where he served as its Director of News & Entertainment. Following Starwave, David was CTO of Altrec.com, a pioneering e-commerce site for outdoor enthusiasts. | |
| Since 2001 David has been the President and CEO of WhatCounts, a company he founded which provides email publishing solutions for businesses like REI, Costco, and Alaska Airlines. | |
Daryn Nakhuda - CTO and Co-Founder | |
| Daryn Nakhuda has been involved in the development and operations of highly-trafficked and highly-visible internet companies for over 10 years. Daryn was the lead engineer at Altrec.com, where he developed much of the infrastructure that is still in place today. Daryn then joined eNIC, the operator of the .CC top-level domain, where he was responsible for building key pieces of the registry and registrar platforms. | |
| Most recently, Daryn was the CTO and principal developer of Spam Arrest, the well known anti-spam email service. Daryn holds a B.A. in Communications from the University of Washington. | |
Brian Byrne - VP, Business Development | |
| Brian Byrne has over 16 years of business development and marketing experience focused on Internet, wireless networking, communications and security technologies. Brian spent 7 years at the Symantec Corporation, where he was Director of Worldwide OEM and Business Development, and led an international team in building relationships with manufacturers to pre-install anti-virus software on consumer PCs. | |
| Most recently, Brian was Vice President of Business Development at Pure Networks, a Seattle startup focused on wireless networking start-up. At Pure, Brian was instrumental in developing the company's go-to-market strategy and early revenue partnerships with AOL, D-Link, Best Buy and others. | |
